In the Budget Speech of 2016-17, the following projects have been announced with a budgetary allocating of Rs.10 crore-

1. Construction of Kumar Bhaskar Barman Kshetra in Nalbari,

2. Cultural Research Centre in Barak Valley and

3. Azaan Peer Kshetra in Sivsagar
