Overview

AIFA sanctions various infrastructure projects to have a support base for all-round economic growth of the State.

Process Flow

Infrastructure Project proposals in the form of ‘Project Concept Paper’ or ‘Detailed Project Report’ received from various departments are scrutinised in the AIFA office.

If the proposal is found satisfactory, it is placed before the Executive Committee, AIFA for deliberation and approval.

If approved, ‘In-principle’ approval is communicated to the Administrative Department concerned and the Administrative Department will submit Detailed Project Report resolving all issues if not submitted earlier.

On receipt of satisfactory DPR, ‘Go-ahead’ is given to the Administrative Department for according Administrative Approval and other sanctions following all Financial Rules and taking up the project for execution. 

Eligibility Criteria

• Infrastructure Project whose cost is minimum Rs.50.00 crore and above would be eligible for funding by AIFA.
• Land for the project should be free from all encumbrances and with clear title/ possession with the Administrative Department. 
• All necessary clearances from the statutory bodies should be obtained before submitting the DPR.
• There should be a clear maintenance plan for the asset so created.

How to apply

A Department should submit a project proposal in the form of Concept Paper or Detailed Project Report resolving all issues to the Project Director, AIFA.
